     As a child I was appalled by a newspaper article perpetuating the myth that goats eat tin cans, so I wrote a letter to the editor of the Worcester (Mass.) Telegram and Gazette to set his readers straight. The editor published my letter, and I've been  writing to instruct and inspire ever since.
